Cohie features

Every step of the program, from application to graduation, runs on the same record. This page shows the product screens, what each role sees, the fair selection rules, the modules and the templates.

The program page is captured from the running product. The other screens are drawn with Cohie's own interface and sample data. The organization, people and startups are made up.

What applicants see and what your team sees

Every screen below comes from the same demo program: Early-Stage Accelerator 2027.

Applicants see the evaluation criteria from the start.

Dates, cohort size, the scoring criteria and their weights, answers to common questions. Applicants can read all of it before they create an account.

Half-finished applications are saved automatically.

The form goes section by section and saves as applicants type. They upload the pitch deck and carry on the next day where they left off. When they submit, they get an application code and a confirmation email.

Mentoring sessions are scheduled and on record.

Mentors open their free slots, startups pick one, and the meeting goes into both calendars. Afterwards, the mentor writes up a note.

Event attendance is recorded digitally.

Share the event page and registrations come in. Once it's full, new sign-ups join a waitlist. When someone cancels, the next person in line gets the spot (or you pick who does) and gets an email. At the door you check people in, then export the attendance list to Excel.

Once the program starts, everyone works from their own screen.

Startups see their next tasks and their mentors. Mentors see the startups they work with, and the program team sees how each training went. Pick a role to see its screens.

Pick a role to see its screen

Startups see everything they need to do in one list.

  • Pending surveys, deliverables and reports wait in "Next up", and each one leads straight to the right screen. When a survey allows edits, answers can be updated later.
  • Recordings and materials from past trainings are in the training program. Sessions go into Google Calendar, Outlook or any calendar through an .ics file, and the trainer is one click away by email.
  • Startups message their mentor, the program team and the other startups in the program from inside the app. In the directory they can find each other's social media accounts.
  • Every three days, founders get a short question about the startup ecosystem. After a wrong answer, or when time runs out, they see the right answer with an explanation.

Mentors work with their startups on the same screen.

  • Mentors open their calendar to the startups they are matched with, and startups book a meeting in a free slot.
  • Resources shared as a link or a file reach the startup by email and notification, listed under the mentor's name.
  • Mentors see the startup's application details and the trainings it attended, and send feedback to the program team.
  • Mentors add their own CV and social media accounts. Either side can ask the program team to change the match.

Feedback is collected after every training, without anyone chasing it.

  • When you add a training, you enter the trainer's name, email and meeting link. Trainers need no account: they get an email with links to add the session to their calendar.
  • Training and meeting notifications go to every startup or only to the startups you pick.
  • Once a training is confirmed as done, participants get the recording and documents. If you turned it on when setting up the program, a 10-question evaluation survey goes out by email.
  • Results are shown question by question and export to Excel, and every download goes into the audit log.

Every jury decision is on record, with its reasons.

When a program runs on public money or a company budget, someone always asks why this startup got in and that one didn't. Cohie keeps the answer on record from the start.

Jurors see the answers, not the names.

First comes the conflict of interest question. Then the application on the left, the rubric on the right. Jurors score with the number keys, move between applications with J and K, and lock their scores when they're done.

The 6 rules that keep selection fair
Blind review
In a blind round, names, emails and founder details never reach the juror's browser. The server strips them out first, and file names are anonymized too.
Conflict of interest declaration
Jurors see this question first when they open an application. If a juror declares a conflict, their score doesn't count and the application drops off their list in every round of the program. They can't take it back later.
Locked means locked
Once a juror locks a review, the score can't be edited. Only the program team can reopen it, and the reopening is logged.
Adjusted score
One juror hands out 5s easily, another never goes above 3. So Cohie adjusts each juror's scores against their own average (a z-score) and shows the raw score next to it. If a juror scored too few applications to tell, the screen says so instead of guessing.
Split scores and threshold warnings
Applications below a criterion's threshold are flagged with a warning. When jurors' scores are far apart, the application gets a "needs discussion" label.
Appeals and an audit trail
Applicants can appeal within the number of days you set. The original decision stays on record, and the appeal never goes to the jury. Status changes, exports and reopened reviews go into the audit log: who, what and when.

12 modules, from application to graduation.

One platform in place of scattered files and messages.

Applications · Jury scoring · Training program · Mentoring · Events · Calendar · Community · Deliverables · Reports · Graduation · Alumni and impact · Investor showcase

See the modules in detail
  • Applications

Build the form section by section, ask for files, add conditional questions. A second application from the same startup gets flagged, and you decide what to do with it.

  • Jury scoring

Write the rubric with weights and level descriptions. Invite jurors and assign applications automatically and evenly, or by hand. Missing scores show up on the dashboard.

  • Training program

Set up weeks and sessions, each with the trainer's name, email and meeting link. Take attendance with a QR code or upload the Zoom, Teams or Meet attendance report. Once a training is done, participants get the recording and documents, and the evaluation survey goes out automatically.

  • Mentoring

Cohie suggests mentors who fit what each startup needs, and says why. Mentors open office hours and can share their calendar with their startups, who book the free slots. Mentors share resources with startups and add their CV to their profile.

  • Events

Open an event page for anything from an info session to Demo Day. When it's full, a waitlist starts, and you check people in at the door. For Demo Day you send invitations and publish the pitch order; jurors score the startup on stage live, and the audience can vote too if you want.

  • Calendar

Sessions, meetings and deadlines in the program calendar, filtered by role. Add it to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.

  • Community

Send an announcement to everyone or just the mentors. Startups, mentors and the team are in the directory and message each other one to one inside the app. Program surveys go out named or anonymous, and the resource hub can be opened to every participant.

  • Deliverables

Ask for a pitch deck, a financial model or an interim report by a set date. Each startup uploads its file from its own dashboard.

  • Reports

Follow each startup's traction through progress reports: customers, revenue, team, funding. Applications, scores, attendance and mentor hours export to Excel or CSV, and every export is logged.

  • Graduation

Set graduation thresholds for attendance, required deliverables and the final score. Cohie shows who meets them, and you decide who graduates. Graduates get a certificate with your logo, and anyone can verify it with its QR code.

  • Alumni and impact

Turn on impact tracking and each graduated startup gets a short survey at 6, 12 and 24 months: company, revenue, team, funding and support programs. Answers add up on the impact screen and export to Excel, and alumni can join your alumni network if they want.

  • Investor showcase

Keep investors and other stakeholders in your organization's directory and send them a time-limited showcase link. Only startups that agreed to be listed appear. Investors flag their interest, and you make the introduction if both sides want it.
