Startup and applicant guide
You apply to a program and, if you're accepted, handle your deliverables, mentor meetings and reports.
This guide is for startups applying to an accelerator program through Cohie: applying, following your application, what happens once you are accepted and how your data is handled.
Apply
- Open the program page. Choose Apply on the program's page. If you don't have an account, create one with your email address and a password, then verify your email.
- Privacy notice. Before you apply, a notice explains how your personal data is processed. Optional explicit-consent items are not a condition of applying.
- Fill in the form. The form goes section by section, and your answers are saved as a draft automatically. Upload files as PDF, PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, PNG or JPG, up to 25 MB.
- Submit. When you submit, you get an application code (for example ONK-0001) and a confirmation email.
Follow your application
My applications shows the status and deadline. You can edit or withdraw your application until the date the program allows.
If you are accepted
- Startup profile and team. Your startup gets its own record. Invite your teammates and fill in the profile.
- My deliverables. Upload the documents the program team asks for, as files or links. Every upload is a new version; approval or a revision request appears here.
- Progress report. At the end of each period, enter a few numbers (users, revenue, team) and what you achieved.
- Mentoring. Book the office hours your mentors open. After a meeting you give it a 1-5 score and a comment; the mentor doesn't see them.
- Messages. You write to the program team on behalf of your startup; your teammates can read it too.
- Training program, Calendar, Community. Sessions, deadlines and announcements are in these sections. You can subscribe to the calendar in Google or Outlook.
Your data
In Account you can download your data and delete your account. When you delete it, your name, email address and profile details are anonymized; submitted applications stay under an anonymous identity for the organization's retention period.
Frequently asked questions
I submitted my application. Can I edit it?
Yes, until the date the program allows. My applications shows the editing deadline next to the application.
I uploaded the wrong file.
If you haven't submitted yet, remove the file and it is deleted. If you have, upload a new one; the old one stays with the program team as a previous version.
The deliverable deadline has passed.
Whether you can still submit depends on the rule set by the team that opened the request. The request page says whether late submissions are allowed; if you're unsure, write to the team under Messages.
